Introduction

What are we looking for in the UK? 

Why is our project a European project? 

We propose to enlarge the parliament, to hear the voice of the voiceless in the construction of a common space.

We wish to give a new breath to the old European oligarchy in loose of confidence.

Utopia? maybe. But isn’t Theatre meant for that? Give life to utopias. 

How does England deal with poverty and mental health issues in public space?

We heard the British government wants to create a Minister of Loneliness.

We found later that it was only a nick name for a program designed to assess and analyse social isolation issues in the UK. But it was hopeful to believe! With such nice and promising title, we were dreaming to import the idea to set up a similar Minister in France!  

We’re heading to England with these illusions. We are also a bit confused with paradoxes: how a state that is prioritizing to fight loneliness wants at the same time to divorce from the EU.…typical insular problem maybe?

We are also a bit worried whether we will manage to engage discussion and understand local accents.
